SAS, R, and CDISC author, SME, UCLA and UCSD professor.

Sunil Gupta, MS, is an international speaker, best-selling author of five SAS books, and a global SAS and CDISC corporate trainer. He has trained thousands of programmers across the USA, Canada, India, Africa, Europe, Armenia, Romania, and Mexico, working with pharmaceutical, medical device, and CRO teams.

Sunil is a Strategic Advisor to Verisian, supporting the development of advanced tools that streamline the clinical submission workflow. He is a CDISC SME and the founder of SASSavvy.com and R-Guru.com.

What Sunil has built and published

In 2011, Sunil launched SASSavvy.com for smarter SAS searches. In 2019, he published his fifth book, Clinical Data Quality Checks for CDISC Compliance Using SAS. In 2023, he launched R-Guru.com for learning R faster.

Most recently, Sunil published his first SAS to R ebook on SQL processing, covering the PROC SQL tasks pharma programmers use daily.

Sunil holds an MS in Bioengineering from Clemson University and a BS in Applied Mathematics from the College of Charleston.
